This role operates in a fully remote capacity, offering an ideal work-life balance. You will leverage our state-of-the-art telehealth platform to deliver mental health counseling sessions via video chat. • Conduct individual therapy sessions using secure video conferencing tools, working with clients to enhance their emotional well-being and mental health.
• Guide clients through discussions about their feelings, experiences, and challenges to foster self-awareness and promote positive relationships.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients by helping them identify personal goals and desired outcomes for their mental health journey.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions comprehensively and collaboratively create and enact treatment plans using evidence-based practices and techniques.
• Provide ongoing support, adjustments to treatment as necessary, and continuous encouragement to clients as they progress in their recovery and personal development.

Your clients will primarily consist of stable adults who have undergone pre-screening to ensure that they have low acuity mental health issues. This role does not involve working with severe mental health cases, and clients are matched according to your specific areas of expertise and demographic preferences, allowing you to effectively apply your experience and knowledge to generate meaningful outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions are acceptable.
• Strong analytical abilities to assess clients, formulate treatment plans, and provide sound recommendations for care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Ability to efficiently utilize technology in a therapeutic context, showing proficiency in computer applications relevant to telehealth.

We encourage candidates with a background in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to apply, as these approaches align with our treatment methodologies. Additionally, experience working with individuals facing life transitions or coping with anxiety and depression will be particularly valuable in this role.
