Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Generator Rental team as a *Generator Diesel Mechanic.*

*SUMMARY*
The position of *Generator Diesel Mechanic* is primarily responsible to diagnose, repair and maintain portable generators. This position may also require but not limited to the following duties, field service repairs, re-fueling, delivering and picking up portable generators, technical support and some travel as needed.
*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Trouble shoot and makes repairs to generator fleet.
* Working with operations manager and generator fleet manager to prioritize repairs
* Ordering of parts for repairs
* Must be able to operate a forklift
* Must be able to assist field operations when needed.
* Ability to drive a company vehicle.
* On call rotation once approved to work in field
*COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:*
* Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines
* Generator experience a plus.
* Is able to read and interpret wiring diagrams
* Working knowledge of both Isuzu, Cat, Cummins, Doosan, MQ, MMD, Volvo, and John Deere engines and generators a plus.
* Able to use computer and related software to trouble shoot engine and generator controls
* Must have mechanical background.
* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Total Estimated Compensation: $80,080 - $102,960
