What is a full time contingency FedEx driver?

Full Time Contingency FedEx Drivers are employees who fill in for regular FedEx delivery drivers when they are unavailable due to vacation, illness, or other reasons. These drivers work full-time hours and are responsible for picking up and delivering packages along various routes as needed. Their role requires flexibility, as they may be assigned to different areas or shifts depending on operational needs. They are expected to maintain high standards of safety, customer service, and package handling, just like regular FedEx drivers.

These competencies ensure reliable, timely deliveries and positive customer experiences, which are critical to FedEx’s operational success.
