Job description

Plumas Bank seeks a full-time Content Marketing Specialist to work in our Reno NV branch. Successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. This position plans, develops and creates multimedia content supporting cross-platform strategies encompassing owned, earned and paid media alongside internal communications. The Content Marketing Specialist brings stories to life and keeps them moving in the right direction. From blog articles, email newsletters, social posts, website content, press releases and internal communications, this role plans and creates content that supports Plumas Bank’s branch and business goals – and makes sure it gets to the right audiences at the right time using the right channels. You’ll write, edit, organize, and oversee content across every channel we use. Equally creative and organized, this role will ensure that every piece of content is consistent in tone, aligned with branch voice, and part of a larger strategic plan so nothing gets lost, duplicated, or overlooked. You’ll also make the most of what we create, giving our content a longer life by adapting it for different audiences and platforms. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Marketing and Community Impact, and works alongside members on an internal marketing team supplemented by agency and vendor partners.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations and communications, marketing or related, and previous professional
work in content production, digital communications and social media, marketing or public relations, and internal
communications. 
Minimum 5 years of experience with 3 years in an agency or as part of a corporate marketing and communications team.
Proficient in MS Office 365, MS Teams and MS Co-Pilot. Proficient with project management and
marketing/communications job request tools in a business environment. Ability to travel periodically via personal transportation to Plumas Bank branch and loan office locations or client businesses in Northern California and Northern Nevada.
