Are you a skilled CMM Programmer looking to work with advanced materials that power the future? Atlas Fibre specializes in manufacturing high-performance composites and thermosets for theAutomotive, Aviation, and Aerospace industries. We've invested heavily in our Quality Department, including a world-classZeiss CMM machinethat has helped us secure exciting new contracts. As our Parts business continues to grow, we're expanding our team and need an experienced CMM Programmer to help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

What You'll Do

  • Program and operateZeiss CMM equipment using Calypso software.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintainCMM inspection programs for new and existing parts.
  • Verify calibration statusand ensure measurement accuracy of CMM equipment.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create inspection routines.
  • Apply GD&T principlesto ensure parts meet geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements.
  • Document inspection results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionallywith Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentin compliance with company standards

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on CMM programming experience(required).
  • Zeiss CMM and Calypso software experienceare strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T(Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Ability to read and interpretengineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
  • Proven precision measurement skillsand attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous inspection experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, or composites manufacturing.
  • Bilingual skills (a plus).
  • Familiarity with advanced materials such as composites and thermosets.

Work Environment

Climate-controlled manufacturing facility with state-of-the-art CNC equipment. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50lbs, and working in an environment with noise and exposure to composite dust (proper PPE provided). Some flexibility for shift coverage may be required.
