Job description

Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Breslau, ON This route runs from Breslau, ON to various site-disposal locations including  cross border into USA (PA, OH, NY, NH, RI, IL, IN, MI,) QC. M-F Approx. 55-60 hours a week wage $35.26. MUST HAVE PASSPORT/ FAST CARD
 

About the role:

  • Travel away from home 2-3 days a week
  • Union hourly wage of $35.26

  • Valid Canadian Passport 
  • Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software 
  • Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US

  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit
  • Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center
  • Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
  • Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
  • Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
