Compliance and Insurance Specialist needed in Valley View's Compliance department!
Clinical experience in the healthcare industry is strongly desired, preferably Registered Nurse!
This is a full-time, day-shift position!
PRIMARY ORGANIZATION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports the design, development, analysis, and continuous improvement of the Compliance, Contracts, and Insurance programs at Valley View.
  • Supports, builds, delivers, and maintains training and educational programs for employees on compliance, insurance, and contracts.
  • Compiles and analyzes internal and external information to prepare compliance, insurance, contract, and state-required data and reports.
  • Reviews policies and procedures under the Compliance department and related operational areas on a scheduled basis and as needed to maintain organizational policy compliance.
  • Serves as the primary operational point of contact for Contract Management and Insurance programs and supports the Director of Compliance & Risk in the coordination and communication of compliance-related matters.
  • Assists the Director of Compliance & Risk in reviewing and maintaining annual and as-needed budget notes, documentation, and supporting materials for Compliance, Insurance, and Contract-related activities.
  • Stays current on industry standards, new legislation, regulatory requirements, state licensing obligations, and insurance-related rules by participating in continuing education, reviewing professional publications, engaging with peers, and joining relevant professional groups; provides timely updates to the Director of Compliance & Risk

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree 2 plus (2+) years' experience in related healthcare field
  • CHC or CHPC certification preferred, or ability to obtain certification within 18 months of employment.

Experience:
  • Preferred experience in federal or state regulatory or managed care compliance

  • Clinical experience in the healthcare industry is strongly desired, preferably Registered Nurse.

SALARY RANGE
  • $76,460.80 to $112,444.80/hour
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
