Join our team as a Daytime, Full-Time, Communications Operator, at INTEGRIS Health Grove Hospital, in Grove, OK.

The Communications Operator serves as the central point of hospital communications, including switchboard, alarms, security radio system, paging, and communication in emergency situations.

Responsibilities: 

The Communications Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Acts as first contact point for the public when calling into INTEGRIS facilities, including calls from the media and administration
  • Operates switchboards for INTEGRIS facilities, locates patient room, personnel and departmental numbers, transfers callers appropriately, and assists in outgoing calls
  • Completes overhead pages and compiles log and tracks physician and other page requests
  • Maintains record of hospital departments and on-call lists and provides information on request
  • Assists visitors and staff while detained in an inoperable elevator
  • Assists internal customers with basic telephone system programming 

Reports to assigned Supervisor or Manager.
