Full Time Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Under close supervision of Commercial Enforcement Program (CEP) sergeants, the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Specialists (CVIS) is responsible for conducting CVSA, NAS, inspections of commercial vehicles in compliance with departmental policies and procedures. CVIS monitor commercial vehicles for compliance with state and federal laws, and regulations related to size, weight, equipment requirements, hazardous materials transportation; driver qualifications and condition; and loading and securement requirements. CVISs affix CVSA decals in accordance with departmental policy.

Working Conditions
Rainbow Commerical Vehicle Enforcement Facility has scales on the I-15 Northbound and Southbound freeways.
Shift will be Monday - Friday and have d ays off on the weekend.
