Company Overview

Sargon Masonry Construction is a family-owned company specializing in masonry, stone, and steel construction. Sargon Masonry Construction is a full-service land development and commercial masonry contractor specializing in perimeter fencing, retaining walls, commercial masonry structures, entry monuments, footings and many other various design-build retaining wall systems.


Position Summary

The Commercial Masonry Foreman will manage and coordinate the daily on-site production of commercial projects from pre-planning through project close-out. This position reports directly to the Commercial Superintendent and works closely with the Commercial Project Manager and Coordinator to ensure craftsmanship and performance consistently meet Sargon’s standards of excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and organize daily activities of crews and subcontractors on projects ranging from 40,000 sq. ft. to 150,000+ sq. ft., in collaboration with the Superintendent
  • Directly oversee daily operations, quality control, and safety compliance
  • Ensure full adherence to OSHA safety procedures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to maintain schedules and productivity goals
  • Hold crew members accountable for performance, attendance, and adherence to company standards
  • Proactively manage jobsite equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure continuous operation
  • Prioritize clear and consistent communication with employees, vendors, and clients
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members, promoting company culture and policies
  • Daily and weekly submission of required paperwork


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience running commercial masonry work and leading crews of 15–20 people
  • Experience with safe scaffold setup and operation, including conventional 4' x 6' frames, crank scaffolding, and hydraulic scaffolding
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety enforcement
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean AZ Motor Vehicle Record
