Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of marketing initiatives designed to promote events, increase attendance, strengthen the venue brand, and engage the local community. This position provides administrative, creative, and operational support to the Marketing team and works closely with Sales, Event Operations, Guest Experience, and external partners. The Marketing Coordinator assists with digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, promotional materials, event marketing, community outreach, and reporting.

This role pays an hourly rate of $20.00 - $24.00.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns for events and venue initiatives.
  • Coordinate marketing timelines, deliverables, promotional materials, and campaign assets.
  • Assist with social media content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Develop and distribute email marketing communications and newsletters.
  • Coordinate website updates and ensure event information is accurate and current.
  • Assist with the development of digital and print marketing materials, including flyers, signage, advertisements, and promotional collateral.
  • Support event-specific marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness, attendance, and engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, promoters, event organizers, agencies, and vendors on marketing needs.
  • Assist with promotional activations, community events, contests, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Help coordinate grassroots marketing, community outreach, and local partnership initiatives.
  • Maintain marketing calendars, contact lists, campaign materials, and other department records.
  • Monitor social media, email, website, and campaign performance and assist with preparing reports.
  • Track marketing expenses and assist with invoices and purchase orders.
  • Research market trends, audience demographics, and competitive activity.
  • Assist with photography, video, and other content creation needs.
  • Ensure all marketing materials follow company brand standards and applicable client requirements.
  • Support the Marketing Manager or Director with special projects and other initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience, including internships or relevant experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, events, or venue marketing.
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and website content management systems.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar design tools.
  • Creative approach to marketing and promotions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, agencies, and vendors.
  • Understanding of social media and digital marketing best practices.
  • Ability to analyze basic marketing performance data.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk throughout the venue during events and promotional activities.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours based on event schedules.
