Why This Role Exists

This role exists to support continued growth and demand within Technimark’s tooling division, Accuchrome Tool & Mold.

In this position, you’ll play a key role in producing high-precision injection mold components that support critical manufacturing across healthcare, consumer, and industrial products. This is a hands-on role where programming, setup, and machining expertise directly impact quality, lead times, and overall production success.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program CNC milling machines for new tooling and mold repair work
  • Set up and validate CNC mills after programming
  • Machine high-precision injection mold components
  • Work with hardened tool steels and complex geometries
  • Load/unload parts and manage production runs
  • Hold tight tolerances on critical tooling components
  • Perform in-process inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize performance
  • Support maintenance tasks including machine cleaning and minor repairs
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

  • Machines: 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Controls: Fanuc, Siemens
  • CAM Software: Cimatron (or similar CAD/CAM platforms)
  • Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, indicators, precision measuring equipment

What We’re Looking ForRequired:

  • 5+ years of CNC machining and/or mold making experience
  • Strong CNC milling experience (setup + programming)
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software (Cimatron or similar)
  • Ability to machine hardened tool steels
  • Proven ability to hold tight tolerances
  • Experience machining complex 3D surfaces
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
  • Strong attention to detail and quality

Preferred (Not Required):

  • 5-axis machining experience
  • Experience with injection mold tooling
  • Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls
  • Trade school or formal machining education
