About the Role
Wonder Valley Ranch Resort is seeking a dependable, service-driven Overnight Guest Services & Safety Manager (MOD) to oversee resort operations during overnight hours. This position serves as the on-site leader after hours, ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth resort operations when other departments are not present.
The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable making decisions, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience-even in the quietest hours of the night.
What You'll Do
As the Overnight MOD, you'll be responsible for maintaining operational excellence and guest satisfaction throughout the property by:
  • Serving as the on-site Manager on Duty during overnight shifts
  • Handling after-hours guest check-in/check-out and reservations as needed
  • Answering and routing incoming guest calls with professional phone etiquette
  • Resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Conducting routine property patrols to ensure safety and security
  • Coordinating with security staff during events when applicable
  • Overseeing overnight hotel and resort operations
  • Completing meeting room and event setup transitions, including furniture movement
  • Inspecting vacant rooms and facilities; reporting maintenance or housekeeping issues
  • Shutting down utilities in unused areas to support cost control efforts
  • Balancing cash banks and handling register transactions
  • Communicating overnight activity and key updates to incoming management and front desk teams
What We're Looking For
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, resort, hotel, or wedding/event venues
  • Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Comfortable with physical activity, including walking the property and light lifting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Schedule & Work Requirements
  • Overnight shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Overtime may be required
