About the role
As a Customer Onboarding Representative at Halter, you lead the rollout of Halter on new ranches. You'll own deployments end-to-end, training animals and operators, solving problems, and supporting producers as they get started. While most deployments happen remotely, time on ranch matters, and you'll regularly work alongside customers in the field.
This role is practical, hands-on, and highly ownership-driven. Every ranch is different, and you'll tailor each deployment to help producers build confidence with Halter.
What your day could look like
  • Own deployments from sales handoff through a smooth transition to Territory Manager and Support teams
  • Work directly with ranchers to bring Halter into their operation and support day-to-day use
  • Lead training that fits the ranch: practical, straightforward, and useful
  • Act as the main point of contact during deployment, giving customers a clear, reliable owner
  • Partner closely with Sales, Territory Managers, Support, Product, and Operations to keep deployments coordinated
  • Keep deployments on track by managing timelines, aligning resources, and clearing blockers
  • Solve problems quickly and adapt plans as conditions change
  • Spot patterns in the field and help improve how future ranches are deployed
  • Track key signals to understand what's working and where we can improve
  • Set customers up with the confidence and foundation needed for long-term success with Halter
Who are we looking for
  • Experience working with customers: whether onboarding, supporting, deploying, or managing complex rollouts
  • Confidence operating independently and keeping priorities organized
  • The ability to coordinate moving pieces and keep things progressing without constant oversight
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset when challenges come up
  • Comfort working cross-functionally: pulling in the right people and keeping everyone aligned
  • Clear, straightforward communication
  • Good judgment and the ability to adapt when plans changeA genuine care for the people we serve and the quality of the work
Nice to haves
  • Agriculture or ranching experience
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Intercom, or similar systems
  • Experience working in ag-tech

  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave for primary and 8 weeks for secondary caregivers plus many other parental benefits that support you and your family.

  • Importantly, we offer an inclusive and attractive remuneration package made up of salary, benefits and an employee stock ownership plan.
