Multi-Trade Remodel Carpenter -Northern California$30–$36/hr DOE · Full-time · Based out of Pleasanton, CAQuality Mobile Home Services is hiring an experienced multi-trade carpenter for our NorthernCalifornia operation. This is a hands-on production role - you'll be running remodel and repairwork on manufactured, modular, and mobile homes across the region. If you'd rather build thanbabysit a clipboard, read on.What you'll actually doDay to day, you'll be cycling through jobs that hit most of these:● Deck builds and repairs● Framing repair (wall, floor, roof)● Subfloor replacement and reinforcement● Siding installation● Interior and exterior flooring● Foundation, pier, and leveling work● Whole-home repipes and plumbing repairs● General remodel carpentry - trim, doors, windows, drywallJobs range from one-day maintenance calls to multi-month structural repairs. Some weeks area single deep build start to finish; other weeks cycle through three or four shorter jobs. Comfortwith both ends of that spread matters.You'll work a two-man crew on every job. Depending on scope, that's either you running the jobwith a helper or apprentice in support, or you and another tradesman working as peers on amore complex build. Either way, this is a working role - your hands are on the tools.About 40% of our work happens in the crawl space under the home - subfloor repair, repipe,foundation and pier work, and leveling all live down there. Comfort working in confined spaces isrequired for this role, not a nice-to-have.You'll be working inside customers' homes, not on an empty job site. Most of our customers aresenior citizens or older homeowners - many of whom have lived in their place for decades andwill be home while you work. Respectful communication, clean job sites at end of day, and thepatience to walk someone through what you're doing are as much a part of this role as thecarpentry.Compensation and benefits● $30–$36/hr depending on experience. Top of band requires verifiable journeyman-levelskill across at least four of the trades above.● Year-round work - 52 weeks a year, 10 years running.
