Overall Function:

Assists the Supervisor 2 with oversight of licensed and non-licensed program activities and the coordination of Residential Technicians, Program Assistant and Community Engagement Specialist to ensure the provision of all recommended and required services. Team Leader will assist with maintaining the regulations set for the CRR and manage staffing and the resident census. 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains a caseload proportionate to the regulatory supervisory ratio and provides billable case management services to consumers.
  • Will fill vacant shifts and assist with management of the health and safety of the residents. 
  • Reviews and analyzes the work of staff related to the delivery of services.
  • Participates in staff development and training activities to enhance skill and knowledge base in relation to trauma Informed, recovery focused, integrated care, and supervisory techniques.
  • Submits for appropriate release of all service-related correspondence and ensures the timely preparation of all required program reports, records and documentation, in accordance with regulatory standards and program policy.
  • Provides technical assistance to program staff.
  • Participates as a member of the residential on-call rotation. 
  • Conducts ongoing utilization review activities including adherence to managed care standards.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Adheres to all policies, laws, regulations and codes of ethics and confidentiality as outlined by federal and state laws, as well as agency policies and procedures.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or other related social service-related field, or a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, plus 2 years of mental health direct care experience, or High School Diploma with 10 years of mental health direct care experience, plus two years in supervisory role. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of governmental program regulations and policies, and other social service providers available to eligible clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to make incisive observations and obtain vital information during the client/ family interview and/or while reviewing case records to make appropriate recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff, providers, and other social service agencies.
  • Must successfully obtain Criminal History Clearance from PA State Police, Child Abuse Clearance from Department of Human Services, and FBI Fingerprint Clearances.
  • Must not be excluded from participation in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal health care program. 
  • Ability to transport oneself and/or clients in an insured vehicle in the performance of essential functions.
