Truck Driver
Full Time
Are you a people person who loves great food? At Dorothy Lane Market, our trucking team is the artery that connects each of the stores. Drivers begin in the early morning hours to deliver freshly baked breads, pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats to the stores for our customer’s delight. A typical shift runs from 3:30 AM to 12:00 PM, though may vary slightly due to the needs of the stores.
We are looking for a reliable and responsible full-time truck driver to join the team. The position requires working a weekend day. No CDL is required, but applicants must have a clean driving record as well as the ability to drive a 28-ft box truck. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be willing to become certified to use all power equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to safely operate a box truck.
  • Agrees to follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • A willingness to practice the DLM Team Values: Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working
  • A desire to make folks happy by providing Honestly Better® Food and Service.
  • Must be 18 or older.
Physical Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Standing for long periods of time.

  • Ability to work Saturdays.
