Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fuel tanker Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in truck driving for tanker operations. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of fuel to our customers while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Duties

  • Operate and drive a tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles to transport fuel over long distances.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Fill tanker at Refinery and deposit at the locations.
  • Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining compliance with traffic laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to minimize risks on the road.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
  • Proficiency in operating tankers, must have tanker and hazmat endorsement.
