Position Overview:

We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced High School STEM Teacher who is bilingual in Mandarin and English to join our academic faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mathematics and/or STEM subjects with at least two years of teaching experience at the high school level. A proven track record in SAT Math instruction is highly preferred. This role requires not only subject expertise but also the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in both Mandarin and English to support bilingual learners.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach high school-level Mathematics and/or STEM subjects (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Physics, Computer Science) to bilingual students.
  • Provide targeted and strategic instruction for SAT Math, helping students master both foundational skills and test-specific strategies.
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with academic standards and promote conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
  • Use a variety of instructional methods and technology to support diverse learning styles and bilingual students.
  • Regularly assess student performance and provide individualized feedback to guide academic progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and integrated STEM experiences.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and academically rigorous classroom environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in high school Mathematics or STEM subjects.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is required.
  • Experience in SAT Math instruction is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with U.S. high school curriculum standards and assessment methods.
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and lesson planning skills.
  • Enthusiastic about STEM education and student achievement.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching credential or certification is a plus.
  • Experience with bilingual, international, or ESL students.
  • Familiarity with AP Mathematics or Science courses.
