This Bartender Apprentice position is intended to go to Full Time after a week for the right Experienced Bartender. Do people applaud when you muddle the fruit & bitters to make an Old Fashioned? Do you make a Martini so good that there is a line to get into where you are a bartender? Do you also have the ability to wait on tables so well that people think you're a rockstar? Are you a great bartender and a great waiter or waitress - a virtual double threat? Bartender Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified bartender who can provide our customers with an outstanding guest experience. The Bartender must be able to meet all the needs of our customers, compelling them to come back again.
Making beverage recommendations based on the needs and preferences of bar customers is a crucial factor for improving the guest drinking experience and our bar's profitability. Communicating with guests professionally and friendly is essential for an excellent customer experience.
A good job candidate must be able to perfectly prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which includes mixing ingredients to prepare classic and innovative cocktails. They also need to keep the bar clean and well-organized and ensure it is always fully stocked.
Responsibilities of a Bartender:
Taking orders and serving drinks and snacks to bar customers
Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Mixing classic and innovative cocktails
Communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner
Nurturing customers to provide an exceptional guest experience
Making menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences
Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized
Checking customers' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
Bartender Job Requirements:
Experience as a bartender
Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages
A bartending certificate is a plus
