Job description

Position Overview:
FIMCO Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Knock-Out Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for removing parts from laser-cut metal sheets using a rubber mallet, accurately counting and sorting materials, and supporting production operations with flexibility and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use a Rubber Mallet to knock out metal parts from laser-cut sheets without damaging components.
  • Accurately count, sort, and organize parts according to job specifications.
  • Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Stand for extended periods during shift hours.
  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Work in varying environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
  • Assist in other departments or tasks as assigned based on production needs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing workloads and cross-train in other departments.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
