We are currently seeking a Full time / Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our experienced medical team. This position offers a consistent three-day schedule (Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays), making it an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian looking for flexibility while practicing progressive, relationship-centered medicine in a collaborative environment.

About the Role
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for companion animals while building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with clients and their pets. You’ll work alongside an experienced, compassionate medical team that values collaboration, communication, mentorship, and practicing medicine the right way. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, educating clients, working as part of a supportive team, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their families.
 
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostics
  • Develop individualized treatment plans using current medical standards
  • Provide preventive, medical, and surgical care for companion animals
  • Educate clients on wellness, nutrition, preventive healthcare, and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using AVImark software.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
  • Perform routine surgical procedures appropriate to your experience and comfort level
  • Practice compassionate, low-stress patient handling whenever possible
  • Uphold the hospital’s commitment to medical excellence, professionalism, and outstanding client service 
 
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college
  • Active Florida veterinary license (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
  • Strong diagnostic, medical, and surgical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
