This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity for passionate professionals who are eager to help children achieve their mobility goals in a compassionate and family-centered environment.

About the Organization

Fortis Motion LLC is a leading provider of pediatric rehabilitation services, committed to fostering the physical, emotional, and social development of children. With a focus on building strong relationships with each child and their family, we prioritize personalized approaches that empower our patients. Our clinic emphasizes creativity and playfulness in therapy, ensuring that treatment feels engaging rather than intimidating for young clients.

Work Environment

Located within a warm and welcoming rehabilitation facility, our Santa Rosa clinic provides a supportive atmosphere where therapists can thrive. You will work closely with a team of other dedicated professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and resources, designed to facilitate effective and enjoyable interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, developmentally appropriate physical therapy to infants, toddlers, and children with various conditions, including but not limited to neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic injuries, genetic anomalies, and developmental delays.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored care plans that track each child’s progress towards achieving their functional goals, such as improving mobility, fostering independence, and enhancing participation in daily activities.
  • Utilize innovative and interactive methods, such as play-based therapy, to engage children during sessions. Develop creative interventions to ensure therapy sessions are enjoyable and motivating.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams by providing education and resources for home-based programs that promote continuity of care outside the clinic.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in our user-friendly electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and shared expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse demographic of young patients ranging from newborns to adolescents. Many children you assist will be dealing with various challenges that affect their mobility and overall quality of life. Your role will be pivotal in helping these children navigate their unique journeys toward better health and functional independence.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or eligibility to become licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
  • A deep commitment to improving the lives of children and collaborating with their families.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to listen and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
  • A creative mindset, ready to implement playful strategies in therapy that resonate with children.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, particularly within a pediatric setting.
  • Experience providing therapeutic care for diverse pediatric populations, along with effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Spanish-speaking or proficiency in other languages is a valuable asset.
  • New graduates with relevant clinical rotations are highly encouraged to apply as we value fresh perspectives and enthusiasm.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary structure ranging from $110,000 to $120,000 annually along with performance-based incentives. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Generous paid time off and paid holidays to support work-life balance.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, ensuring you and your family are covered.
  • A 401(k) plan with company matching to help you secure your financial future.
  • Reimbursement for continuing education, enabling you to pursue professional growth.
  • Support for licensure and professional dues, alleviating some financial burdens associated with maintaining your credentials.
  • Flexible scheduling options to cater to individual needs and enhance work-life harmony.
  • Opportunities to lead workshops, educate parents, and engage in community events to further our mission beyond the clinic.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Fortis Motion LLC means you are entering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
