You will work closely with a team of other dedicated professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools and resources, designed to facilitate effective and enjoyable interventions.

• Provide individualized, developmentally appropriate physical therapy to infants, toddlers, and children with various conditions, including but not limited to neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic injuries, genetic anomalies, and developmental delays.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored care plans that track each child’s progress towards achieving their functional goals, such as improving mobility, fostering independence, and enhancing participation in daily activities.
• Utilize innovative and interactive methods, such as play-based therapy, to engage children during sessions. Develop creative interventions to ensure therapy sessions are enjoyable and motivating.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams by providing education and resources for home-based programs that promote continuity of care outside the clinic.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in our user-friendly electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and shared expertise.

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse demographic of young patients ranging from newborns to adolescents. Many children you assist will be dealing with various challenges that affect their mobility and overall quality of life. Your role will be pivotal in helping these children navigate their unique journeys toward better health and functional independence.

• A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or eligibility to become licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A deep commitment to improving the lives of children and collaborating with their families.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to listen and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
• A creative mindset, ready to implement playful strategies in therapy that resonate with children.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist, particularly within a pediatric setting.
• Experience providing therapeutic care for diverse pediatric populations, along with effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Spanish-speaking or proficiency in other languages is a valuable asset.
