Job description

MWV Environmental Services, an asbestos abatement company, is currently searching for an experienced Estimator/Project Manager.

Candidates should also have excellent communication skills, math Skills, problem-solving skills, typing & computer skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks at the same time, and a commitment to follow through on assignments.

Candidates must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, and be a team player.

Job Responsibilities

· Look for work and keep track of upcoming projects.

· Attend site walkthroughs (take notes and photos), solicit subcontractor quotes.

· Receive and review all bid invitations for qualifications and specifications.

· Prepare estimates with appropriate backup (labor, materials, equipment)

· Prepare Project Plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.

· Procures materials and negotiates with vendors and subcontractors.

· Prepare Bid Documents & Submittals

· Follow up on Bids/Proposals

· Coordinate with Subcontractors

· Attend meetings and maintain customer communication.

· Efficiently coordinates with the Superintendent and Management for Scheduling.

· Provide directions, inspecting and ensuring the standard of quality on project sites.

Job Requirements

· 5 Years Asbestos Abatement, Demolition, or Restoration Experience

· Asbestos Contractor Supervisor License or Asbestos Inspector License

· Lead Abatement Supervisor

· 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training

· OSHA 30 Training

· Valid Driver’s License

Education

· Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)

Computer Skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Work Hours: Monday – Friday and possibly Saturday, 8 am – 5 pm

Employment: Full-Time

Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, plus Annual Bonus
