Job description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated full-time Armed Security/Houseman to join a dynamic private household team in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a hands-on, active role requiring complete flexibility, discretion, and a service-oriented mindset. This position involves extensive domestic travel throughout the United States, including New York.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal and property security in Boca Raton and while traveling domestically
  • Perform hands-on tasks around the home, including light handyman work and household support
  • Run errands, assist with pet care (particularly dogs), and support daily family routines
  • Collaborate with an established team to ensure full coverage and seamless household operations
  • Accompany the family on extensive travel (approximately 5-6 months per year), providing logistical and security support

Requirements:
  • Former law enforcement professional strongly preferred (minimum 10 years of service required for LEOSA/HR 218 eligibility to carry in NY)
  • Valid license to carry and operate as an armed security professional
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and travel as required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; must thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Able and willing to travel with the family for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Schedule: Full-time. This position does not operate on a fixed 9-to-5 schedule. Flexibility is key to meeting the family's evolving needs and travel demands.
