Legacy Business Development is the leading sales and consulting firm in Houston. Our sales representatives provide customers with the most up-to-date solar and home automation technologies. We are searching for a personable, thorough, full-time Solar Prospector to contact prospective clients and add to our award-winning team.

The Solar Prospector role provides vital support to the success of our sales team. To be successful as a Solar Prospector, you should be determined to achieve and surpass each of your work-related goals. Ultimately, an outstanding Solar Prospector will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sales process, including ways in which to garner clients' interest in meeting with our sales team.

What you’ll do:

  • Familiarize yourself with essential details of our products and services
  • Source and develop self-generated leads and appointments with potential customers
  • Accept calls from prospective clients as they arise
  • Field basic questions and concerns about the products and services we offer
  • Keep a detailed log of calls, including those which were not answered
  • Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers
  • Evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long-lasting relationships
  • Manage the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations
  • Prepare for appointments by building proposals, preparing for objections, and calling customers to confirm appointments
  • Track customer data, and provide lead reporting
