Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Control Agent in Doraville, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting daily operations with a caring, agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and/or delivery access, and document arrivals, departures, and restricted area activity according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, access exceptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, trailer lots, gates, and perimeter, recognizing and reporting unusual conditions and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, communicating with site personnel, and helping to deter policy violations, theft, and/or trespassing through consistent presence and procedure compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
