Position: General Cleaner Supervisor | Full-Time

Schedule: Full-time | 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Location: Shreveport Regional Airport, Shreveport, LA

Pay Rate: $14.00 Per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced, full-time General Cleaner Supervisor to join our team at Shreveport Regional Airport in Shreveport, LA. This is a leadership role responsible for managing cleaning staff and upholding the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our clients' premises.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise cleaning staff; schedule and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage for all client locations.
  • Clean and sanitize various surfaces including floors, walls, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Dust surfaces, furniture, and equipment thoroughly, and polish surfaces to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard surface floors paying attention to corners and hard-to-reach areas.
  • Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures and refill dispensers and supplies as needed.
  • Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste and recyclables in designated containers.
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and restroom amenities to ensure adequate daily stock.
  • Assist floor technicians in floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as directed.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.


Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities management preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications including email and Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
