Job description

AIPSO is a management organization and service provider for various insurance industry groups responsible for administering the residual market. We are a national organization that serves local customer needs. Centralization and standardization are key to many AIPSO services because of the inherent economies of scale and other efficiencies.

However, our organization is based on customer focus and recognizes the need for flexibility in serving customer groups with diverse interests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in the development and execution of AIPSO's social media strategy. Develop content that reinforces AIPSO's brand image to grow visibility and increase brand awareness.

Create and manage monthly content calendars that support AIPSO's social media/public relations strategies, ensuring their accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Track weekly and monthly performance, monitoring industry trends, competitive activity and best practices as directed. Collaboratively design and produce AIPSO print and electronic publications for distribution to customers.

These publications include (but are not limited to) statistical information, external and internal newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, press releases, directories, and other materials. Assist in the development and writing of articles, narratives, descriptions, and other written products in support of publications, audio/visual productions, and other projects. Perform tasks, create content, and design graphics as directed for use on AIPSO websites (e.g., SharePoint, ACA, AIPSO.com), materials, publications, and postings

Create and produce audio/visual and video presentations. Assist in script writing, camera work, video production, and post-production editing. Perform assigned tasks to AIPSO public relations initiatives and duties, including production of press releases, social media postings, and creating content.

Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university majoring in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism. Additional appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience: 2 or more years' experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing, or journalism preferred.

Skills & Knowledge: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) to manage work. Effective problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues, find the root cause of the problem, and consider a wide range of alternatives before acting. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or individuals

Working knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) and video production tools (e.g., Camtasia, Final Cut Pro). Demonstrate excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and interact professionally and effectively in a team environment

Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by being able to follow directions and interpret customer needs. Knowledge of insurance industry preferred. Salary Range $54,400 - $86,800/$65,000 - $103,800 Annual.

Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
