Our client is seeking a Process Architect to take ownership of analyzing, designing, and optimizing manufacturing processes that improve flow, reduce variability, and strengthen overall operational capability. This role sits at the center of process engineering, partnering closely with product development, operations, quality, and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing processes are scalable, efficient, and aligned with technical and business objectives. This position is ideal for a process-driven engineer who is energized by structured problem solving, process mapping, data analysis, and architecting the systems that bring new and existing products to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end process architecture activities, including 3P events, value stream mapping, and development of Process-at-a-Glance and control documentation
  • Conduct detailed process mapping, FMEA, DFM assessments, and other engineering analyses to identify waste, risk, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Design and refine manufacturing processes to improve flow, repeatability, throughput, and quality using disciplined engineering methods
  • Lead structured root-cause investigations and corrective actions using 9-Step Problem Solving, FMEA updates, and data-driven approaches
  • Drive process standards and documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance across assigned value streams
  • Support new product development by evaluating manufacturability, defining process requirements, and ensuring smooth integration into production
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure processes align with design intent, quality expectations, safety requirements, and operational capabilities
  • Identify, justify, and support implementation of new equipment, tools, and technologies that enhance process performance
  • Oversee process validation, capability studies, and measurement system reviews to ensure stable and capable processes
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, recommendations, and presentations to leadership and technical teams
Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related technical experience
  • Strong analytical ability with experience in data modeling, root cause analysis, and structured engineering tools
  • Hands-on experience developing, optimizing, or scaling manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated success leading process-focused initiatives such as NPI integration, process redesign, or major CI improvements
  • Proven ability to manage projects, define process requirements, and deliver results from concept through execution
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma, Red X, Lean, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated success leading CI or Lean-based process improvement events
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams at all levels of a manufacturing organization
