Salary/Hourly Wage: $83.00 - $88.00/hour

Position Summary: The Nurse Practitioner position is responsible for coordinating and providing medical/clinical services including engagement, assessment, differential diagnosis, recovery service planning, medication management, education, and risk assessment and discharge planning. The Nurse Practitioner position also uses Recovery Coaching to maximize the opportunity to create recovery partnerships and a recovery environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Guest Care amp; Advocacy:
    • Provides appropriate treatment and referral according to individualโ€™s needs.
    • Prescribes and administers medication.
    • Supervises special diet requirements.
    • Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
  2. Compliance amp; Risk Management:
    • Supervises or provides nursing and medical care in compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
    • Ensures completion of designated reviews for all new individuals brought to the facility, making appropriate dispositions in accordance with policy.
    • Initiates and/or ensures appropriate response to all medical emergencies.
    • Communicates complaints and incidents to supervisory personnel.
    • Completes clinical documentation as required.
      • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
      • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  3. Cross Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
  4. Additional Duties:
    • Performs other related duties assigned.

  5. Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
    • Travel required based on business need.
    • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
    • Successfully complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
    • Provide the required credentials to successfully complete the credentialing process.

      • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).
      • Must be able to pass education verification check.

A Provider Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands:

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
