What does aN Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse do?

As a newly appointed Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse at Renaissance Management Company, you can expect a dynamic and rewarding work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, administering dialysis treatments, and closely monitoring patient vital signs throughout the process. You'll collaborate with a skilled team of healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective communication and problem-solving.

Your full-time schedule will consist of four days a week, with approximately 10-hour shifts that adapt to patient census needs. Staggered start times will provide variety in your workday, while rotating weekends will enhance your overall experience and teamwork. With no on-call requirements, youโ€™ll have the flexibility to focus on your patients and develop your expertise in a supportive environment dedicated to excellence in healthcare.

Are you the Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse we're looking for?

To thrive as an Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse at Renaissance Management Company, certain essential skills and qualifications are necessary for success. Proficient knowledge of acute hemodialysis, CRRT, plasma apheresis, and peritoneal dialysis is crucial for delivering high-quality patient care. Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills will enable you to identify changes in patient conditions promptly, while expertise in treatment initiation and termination is vital for effective care management. Your acute care nursing background should be complemented by excellent IV therapy skills, ensuring you can provide efficient and safe treatment.

Additionally, holding a current BLS/CPR certification and an active Illinois RN license is mandatory. With a minimum of one year of dialysis experience, you will bring valuable insights to the team. Being travel-ready enhances our team's flexibility, ensuring we can meet patient needs across diverse settings while maintaining our commitment to safety and excellence.

The Acute team travels to Rush Copley in Aurora, IL and 5 Northwestern Hospitals (Delnor, CDH, Marianjoy, Kishwaukee, Valley West)

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
