Job description

Radiology Partners Borderlands is seeking a Breast Radiologist to join their team in Albuquerque, NM. This independent contractor position focuses on 100% breast imaging with an option for general diagnostic work.   • Lovelace Women's Hospital features a 53-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 24/7 emergency department, 16 labor and delivery rooms, 41-bed Mother-Baby unit, and a Maternal-Fetal Medicine program
  • Lovelace Women's Hospital's offers a nationally accredited Breast Care Center providing the latest in 3D mammography and surgical procedures

Responsibilities

  • Perform 100% Breast Imaging, with an option for some General Dx if desired
  • Be proficient in all aspects of breast imaging/procedures
  • Cover up to 11 weeks/year or 55 shifts (vacation coverage)

Compensation

  • This position is paid on a shift basis, $4,400/shift
  • The salary range for this position is $150,000-$300,000
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus

  • No call, weekends or holidays
  • Potential opportunity for additional shifts

Requirements

  • Completed an internship and residency in accredited U.S. Diagnostic Radiology Training Program
  • Board certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • BLS, ACLS
  • DEA
  • MQSA required
  • Medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Fellowship in Breast Imaging - Preferred, but not required
