Job Summary:
Scout AI is developing Fury, the first robotic foundation model for defense, aimed at enhancing U.S. forces' capabilities. The role involves building full-stack features, working across backend and frontend systems, and integrating AI/ML capabilities into user workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Build and ship full-stack features from concept to production
• Design and implement scalable backend services and APIs
• Develop intuitive, high-performance frontend applications
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into real user workflows
• Improve system architecture, reliability, and developer experience
• Work directly with users and stakeholders to refine product direction
• Contribute to infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring
• Help shape engineering culture, processes, and technical standards
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2-5 years of full-stack engineering experience (startup or high-ownership environment preferred)
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar)
