This is a full-time onsite role based in Sunnyvale, CA. Remote and hybrid options are not available.  Role Summary:
As a Senior Software Engineer at Walmart, you will lead the delivery of scalable, secure software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will drive the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment, while integrating advanced AI/ML capabilities to enhance platform intelligence. This role demands strong technical judgment, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving to meet business objectives. You will mentor peers, contribute to innovation, and ensure high-quality outcomes that align with Walmart’s standards, supporting a culture of engineering excellence and operational reliability.

Our team develops reusable technologies that enhance customer acquisition, onboarding, and merchant empowerment, ensuring seamless experiences across in-store, mobile app, and website channels. We focus on optimizing tariffs and assortment aligned with Walmart’s Everyday Low-Cost philosophy. Leveraging advanced technical skills, we deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that drive value and affordability.   What You'll Do:

• Own the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
• Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

• 6+ Years of Software Engineer experience at a senior level
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven expertise in Full Stack Development: UI Frameworks, Test Frameworks, API development, and database development
• Extensive experience in software development with proficiency in languages such as Java, Rust, TypeScript, and GraphQL
• Strong experience in delivering scoped features and managing full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform and business objectives.
• Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
