Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Regular Full-Time Atlanta, IN, US

The Senior Software Engineer is a cross‑team individual contributor who helps deliver, support, and improve business‑critical software across multiple product areas. This is a true full‑stack role, with meaningful ownership across frontend applications, APIs, backend services, database‑backed workflows, integrations, reporting, production support, and release delivery. The role requires strong product judgment, practical debugging skills, clear communication, and the ability to move between planned feature work, urgent defects, technical debt cleanup, and release support.

AI‑assisted engineering is a normal part of this role. The engineer is expected to use AI‑assisted development tools throughout discovery, planning, implementation, debugging, testing, review, documentation, and production support while remaining accountable for the quality and impact of the work.

This role has a flexible work arrangement, meaning we are open to employees working remotely or in‑office. Periodic travel to the Atlanta, IN office is expected.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, test, and maintain full‑stack features from user interface through API, service, database, and deployment.
  • Build frontend experiences that are reliable, usable, maintainable, and aligned with approved designs and product workflows.
  • Develop and support backend services, APIs, database‑backed features, and business workflow automation.
  • Build and support integrations with internal systems, third‑party services, document/report generation tools, messaging systems, and authentication providers.
  • Use AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve engineering quality, explore implementation options, and strengthen technical decision‑making.
  • Use AI to improve tests, identify edge cases, analyze failures, and strengthen regression coverage.
  • Use AI‑assisted review techniques to pre‑check changes for bugs, missing tests, readability issues, and regression risk before opening or reviewing pull requests.
  • Diagnose production issues using logs, monitoring tools, database evidence, API behavior, frontend behavior, and user‑reported workflows.
  • Ship focused fixes and hotfixes while preserving system stability, data integrity, user experience, and existing contracts.
  • Collaborate with QA, Design, Technology Business Partners, product stakeholders, and engineers across scrum teams.
  • Review pull requests and provide practical peer feedback on correctness, maintainability, testing, usability, and clarity.
  • Improve reliability, performance, test coverage, CI/CD workflows, and developer experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, troubleshooting notes, and handoff material.
  • Balance planned delivery with production support, release validation, and defect resolution.
Job Requirements

Education and Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong full‑stack experience across frontend applications, APIs, backend services, and databases.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and modern web application development.
  • Experience building maintainable user interfaces with modern frontend frameworks.
  • Experience building and maintaining APIs, backend services, and database‑backed applications.
  • Experience working with business workflows, reporting, billing, ordering, customer data, operational tools, or similar enterprise systems.
  • Experience integrating with third‑party systems, APIs, authentication providers, messaging tools, or external data sources.
  • AI fluency, including the ability to use AI‑assisted development tools effectively across planning, implementation, testing, debugging, review, and documentation.
  • Accountability for all AI‑assisted output, including correctness, security, maintainability, and production impact.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing, code review, Git workflows, and agile delivery.
  • Ability to debug complex issues across frontend, service, database, and asynchronous workflow boundaries.
