You'll contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design, full-stack development, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing application support.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-priority, high-impact projects supporting critical infrastructure and capacity initiatives, with the flexibility to develop prototypes, solve complex technical problems, and transition successful solutions to long-term owners. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and use modern development practices to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain business applications, web-based tools, automation solutions, and software systems.
  • Develop both front-end and back-end components as part of full-stack software solutions.
  • Gather and analyze system requirements and translate business and technical needs into software solutions.
  • Design and develop software using sound principles of data structures, algorithms, software design, and large-scale systems development.
  • Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions to address emerging technical and business needs.
  • Develop new applications and enhance existing software and legacy production systems.
  • Analyze enhancement requests, technical specifications, and system requirements to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare detailed software specifications, technical documentation, and test plans.
  • Develop unit and integration tests and conduct thorough testing of new and modified software.
  • Troubleshoot complex software issues, diagnose root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Support applications through system testing, user testing, implementation, and post-implementation validation.
  • Create and manage migration packages for system, user, and production environments.
  • Identify and resolve defects and bugs across development and production environments.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and code reviews to ensure software quality and maintainability.
  • Connect front-end applications with back-end services and data sources.
  • Track development work and deliverables through Azure DevOps or similar engineering workflow tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical partners to communicate progress, technical decisions, challenges, and solutions.
  • Develop solutions that can ultimately be transitioned to long-term engineering or operational teams.
What You'll Bring
  • 8 or more years of professional software engineering experience, with a target level of approximately 8 to 10 years.
  • 8 or more years of experience with C#.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another related technical field.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software design, and large-scale software systems.
  • Experience developing and supporting full-stack applications, including connecting front-end applications to back-end services and data sources.
  • Experience with data modeling and/or data sources.
  • Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and problem diagnosis on both new and legacy production systems.
  • Experience with unit testing, software testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
  • Experience designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite five days per week.
