Job Description: Full Stack Software Engineer (5+ Years Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional software development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C# backend development, Object-Oriented Design, and modern desktop application development using WPF. Experience with multithreaded programming using the Task Parallel Library (TPL) and database technologies such as Oracle and PostgreSQL is required. Exposure to TimeSeriesDB solutions is considered a strong plus.
This role requires a collaborative team player with a passion for learning new technologies, solving complex technical challenges, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications using modern software engineering practices.
  • Develop scalable and maintainable backend services using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Implement robust multithreaded and asynchronous solutions utilizing Task Parallel Library (TPL).
  • Design and develop rich desktop user interfaces using WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
  • Apply Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and design patterns to create clean, extensible, and maintainable code.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain database solutions using Oracle and PostgreSQL.

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE
$122,133.07 - $183,199.61
This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
employees working 20+ hours a week).
