Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 12 months
Pay Rate: $65/hr - $71/hr

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise applications and data solutions. This role combines expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Python-based services and APIs, and React-based user interfaces to deliver scalable and secure technology solutions. This individual will also serve as a technical analyst, bridging the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams to define requirements and shape the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python and React.
  • Build scalable and secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
  • Design and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, schemas, and stored procedures.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements, translating them into user stories and solution designs.
  • Conduct ongoing engagement with business stakeholders to understand goals and identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop automated testing and monitoring capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 4-6 years of experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
  • 3-7 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, product management, or similar roles.
  • Experience with Kanban methodology.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python development.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database design.
  • Experience developing modern web applications using React.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with data engineering, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration patterns.
  • Experience implementing authentication and authorization frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or equivalent source control platforms.
  • Exposure to AI/ML solutions and modern data platforms.
