You will work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. Minimum requirements:

  • Must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or related STEM field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience.

  • Experiences with any of the following: Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka or similar, Git, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Bash, Linux

  • Experience developing containerized micro-services.

  • Experience Developing Front end Web applications

  • Experience Developing Backend services that use API's or a message bus to communicate.

  • Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE).

  • Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools.

  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Developmentpipelines (CI-CD Pipelines).

  • Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.

Desired Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with formal software development methodologies (Agile)

  • Experience writing software implementing algorithms

  • Experience implementing Design Patterns

  • Familiarity with Aerospace Engineering and space operations

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $82,000.00 - $109,000.00 - $119,900.00 annually. The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $132,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
