Hiring:Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location:Sunnyvale,CA(3days onsite minimum)

Duration:6 months

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale software applications enabling broader service needs to support wide range of Intuitive digital offerings. Operating with high autonomy, you will tear down organizational silos and drive a strong culture of collaboration and pragmatic design.

In this role, you will take ownership of the full software development life cycle for complex intensive applications. If you are passionate about full-stack development, modern deployment architectures, and driving technical excellence across global teams, this collaborative environment will allow you to make a true impact on our operational velocity and, ultimately, better patient care by enabling surgeons.

What You'll Do

Full Stack Development: Architect, design, and implement scalable web applications and microservices using React.js, Node.js, and Python.

End-to-End SDLC Ownership: Drive the software development life cycle from initial requirement gathering and system design through validation, deployment, and maintenance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with diverse cross-functional teams—including embedded and digital engineering, QA, validation, and IT operations to integrate inputs into cohesive software solutions.

Data & Infrastructure: Develop data pipelines and backends interfacing with modern database systems, including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

Modern Deployment: Champion and implement CI/CD best practices, utilizing Dockerization and modern deployment stacks such as Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and ArgoCD.

Technical Leadership: Perform code reviews, ensure code quality, and actively mentor peer and junior engineers.

Global Team Coordination: Demonstrate flexibility and leadership in guiding and collaborating with offshore development teams to ensure alignment and continuous delivery.

Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing engineering workflows and propose approaches to reduce friction and increase engineering velocity.
 

Qualifications:
 

What You'll Bring (Required Skills & Experience)

Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or an adjacent technical field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.

Strong proficiency in full-stack software development with deep expertise in React.js, Node.js, and Python.

Hands-on experience with modern relational and cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

Proven experience in modern deployment infrastructure, including Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), Argo CD, and building robust CI/CD pipelines.

Demonstrated ability to lead or take ownership of complex software projects involving collaboration across multiple technical and non-technical stakeholder teams.

Experience leading, coordinating, or mentoring offshore engineering teams.

Strong communication skills with a proven track record of translating complex requirements into reliable, production-ready software.
 

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Experience working in environments with structured processes for requirements, testing, and validation (e.g., medical, aerospace, or similar regulated industries).

Experience building data-intensive observability, visualization, or developer tooling applications.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform) and deploying scaled services.
