Responsibilities

The Full-Stack Software Developer III for the Business Data & Technology Enablement (BDTE) Department is responsible for building software that assists in delivering business intelligence, analytics, and reporting using a variety of tools and programming disciplines. This position will build and maintain systems supporting Northside Hospital's clinical and financial enterprise data repositories.  Candidates must have excellent technical aptitude and an affinity for data and analysis.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collects and defines requirements for software development supporting the Finance Division.
  • Collaborate with architects and other developers to design and implement APIs and microservices that align with best practices.
  • Develops and maintains robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems using the .NET framework.
  • Produces technical documentation for programming and reporting efforts.
  • Creates automations that reduce manual labor across the Finance Division.
  • Builds intuitive and responsive user interfaces with React, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommendations for process improvement within the Finance Division, including process automation and data audits.  Responsible for programming and implementation of said improvements.
  • Qualifications
  • Either
  • a. B.S. in Computer Science/Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field OR

    b. Bachelor's degree with proven coursework, related skillset and/or related work experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with React and related libraries.
  • 5+ years of experience working with C# and .NET.
  • Ability to mentor other team members on best practices
  • Demonstrated expertise for programming in a .NET environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and design skills
  • Excellent analytical skills interpreting meaning from data
  • Preferred:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a healthcare environment
  • Expertise with .NET framework
  • Expertise with C# and Javascript
  • Expertise with SQL Server, T-SQL and/or other database environments
  • Familiarity with MS Visual Studio
  • Work Hours:9AM-5PMWeekend Requirements:NoOn-Call Requirements:NoEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
