What is a Full Stack Python Developer?

A Full Stack Python Developer is a software engineer who is proficient in both front-end and back-end development using Python as the primary programming language for server-side logic. They are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications, ensuring seamless integration between the user interface and the server. Full Stack Python Developers typically work with frameworks like Django or Flask for the backend, and use technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend. Their skill set allows them to manage databases, create APIs, and handle deployment, making them versatile contributors to software development teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Full Stack Python Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Full Stack Python Developer, you need proficiency in Python programming, front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), back-end frameworks like Django or Flask, and a solid understanding of databases and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and containerization tools (Docker) is typically required, along with relevant certifications being an advantage. Problem-solving, adaptability, and strong communication skills help developers collaborate effectively and address complex technical challenges. These combined technical and soft skills are crucial for delivering robust, scalable applications and ensuring smooth teamwork in dynamic development environments.

Full Stack Python Developers often juggle multiple responsibilities, including designing user interfaces and ensuring robust server-side logic. One frequent challenge is efficiently switching between front-end frameworks (like React or Angular) and back-end Python code, which requires staying up-to-date with technologies on both ends. Additionally, integrating APIs, troubleshooting cross-platform issues, and maintaining code consistency can be complex in fast-paced environments. Effective communication with UI/UX designers and DevOps teams is also crucial to ensure seamless deployments and user experiences.

AspectFull Stack Python DeveloperBackend Python Developer

Job description

Who We Are

Join a collaborative engineering team delivering reliable, high-performance services for financial data systems. You'll develop and maintain .NET APIs, integrate with internal and third-party systems, and help evolve our service architecture. Onsite in Phoenix with full family health coverage and flexible hours.

About the Role

We're seeking full stack engineers to expand our platform's API and service capabilities. You'll design, implement, and support high-performance, maintainable code that integrates cleanly across multiple modules and external systems. This role is hands-on: building production-grade code, reviewing pull requests, and helping shape our architectural standards. You'll work closely with DevOps, QA, and UI teams to ensure seamless delivery. This is an ONSITE role in Phoenix with genuine flexibility. Core collaboration hours are 10 AM-3 PM - manage your schedule around that. We don't track hours or micromanage - we hire professionals and treat them accordingly. You'll work with experienced engineers who value clean design, accountability, and getting things done right.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)

    • Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to ensure production reliability.
    • Participate in design sessions, code reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
    • Communicate clearly across disciplines - UI, QA, DevOps, and Product.
    • Contribute to team documentation and shared coding practices.
    What You Bring
    • 3-6 years professional experience in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
    • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservice patterns.
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
    • Familiarity with Azure services (App Service, Key Vault, Service Bus, Functions).
    • Experience integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
    • TypeScript Framework experience
    • Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to balance shipping features with maintaining system stability.
    What We Value
    • Problem solvers who propose solutions, not just identify issues.
    • Self-awareness to spot gaps in your own work and communicate them.
    • Professionals who meet realistic deadlines without hand-holding.
