We are looking for an experienced Java and Angular Full Stack Development Lead with deep Spring Boot and Angular expertise to join our team. The candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade fullstack applications and microservices, with a heavy focus on Oracle SQL-driven business logic and rich Angular-based user interfaces. This role requires strong systems thinking, technical leadership, and the ability to guide a team while remaining hands-on across the full stack.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java and Angular fullstack applications, including Spring Boot microservices deployed on Apache Tomcat and Angular-based front-end applications
  • Develop and maintain Angular applications with strong focus on performance, usability, and maintainable UI architecture
  • Write, optimize, and review complex Oracle SQL queries that drive core business logic and support fullstack workflows
  • Own technical design discussions and drive fullstack architecture decisions across microservices and UI layers
  • Enforce code quality standards across Java and Angular codebases through GitHub Pull Request reviews and development best practices
  • Break down business requirements into actionable fullstack technical tasks; manage delivery tracking in JIRA and document decisions in Confluence
  • Mentor and guide junior and intermediate developers on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular standards and patterns
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across SQL, service layers, and front-end applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and infrastructure across the full development lifecycle
  • Apply systems thinking to assess upstream and downstream impacts of changes across services and front-end applications
  • Oversee automated testing strategies for both backend and frontend layers, providing direction on test coverage and quality gates
  • Manage end-to-end fullstack software development lifecycle from design to deployment and post-release maintenance
  • Take measured risks while protecting the organization by adhering to risk management frameworks, policies, and applicable standards
  • Design and implement integrations with GenAI / LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Azure OpenAI Service) within fullstack solutions
  • Architect scalable patterns for AI-augmented features including prompt management, context handling, token optimization, and response parsing
  • Evaluate and integrate AI SDKs and RAG pipelines into existing Java and Angular service architectures
  • Establish guardrails, content filtering, and responsible AI practices for GenAI-powered fullstack features in production systems
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) across the team to improve developer productivity and code quality

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills - In-Depth Proficiency Required

  • Languages: Java and Angular (Java 8+, ideally 11/17)

  • Prior experience in a FullStack Development Lead or Senior FullStack Developer capacity is required
  • Experience leading fullstack code reviews, technical discussions, and delivery planning
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience

Salary:

$75,900.00 - $141,900.00
