Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer for a contract position in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves full-stack development, where the candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing modern web applications using the latest technologies while following Agile processes.
Responsibilities:
• Full-stack development projects, build a minimum working product quickly
• Continuous Improvement to refine and optimize the product.
• Create, update and deliver modern web application using latest technologies
• Follow an Agile process
• Ownership over the product
• Build applications using ATDD
• Research and propose new technologies
Qualifications:
Required:
• Demonstrated Experience with full stack end to end development
• Preferably 8+ years of development experience overall
• Expertise in core Java and Spring Framework
• Strong JavaScript knowledge, AngularJS, NodeJS and jQuery
• Experience with RESTful Web Service/SOA Development
• Experience with Formal Agile Development Techniques
• Experience with Issue/Bug Management and Team Collaboration Tools, preferably with JIRA
• Experience with Source code management systems, preferably GIT
Preferred:
• Experience with Big Data a huge plus
• Understanding of Spring: Core, MVC, Security, AOP, Boot
• Experience with Visualization Libraries like D3
• Experience with DynamoDB, NiFi, Spark, Splunk a huge plus
• Experience with Continuous Integration, preferably Jenkins
• Good knowledge of Linux, Capistrano, Puppet, Chef
• Experience with ATDD, Cucumber and Selenium
• Experience with build and package managers, preferably Bower and Gulp
