What you have
In this role as an individual contributor, you will be:
  • You will be required to do hands-on coding and mentorship for junior members of the team
  • Leading daily activities, promoting Agile practices, and coordinating with key collaborators to meet project deadlines and budget
  • Estimating development sizing and costs and collaborating with the Scrum Master and product owner for efficient task prioritization
  • Ensuring quality through automated testing and TDD and integrating SSO to interconnect various internal and external systems
  • Driving release process improvements, assisting the Scrum Master with team needs, and synchronizing team efforts for seamless product releases
  • Proactively identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans, and maintaining documentation and code quality standards
  • Engaging with both onshore and offshore teams to refine development practices

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, related degree field OR related practical experience
  • 12+ years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise applications with Java/J2EE, and Angular environments
  • 4+ years of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows.
  • Practical use of AI within the Software Development Lifecycle. Hands on experience with core AI fundamentals, including machine learning concepts, LLM capabilities and limitations, MCP and practical considerations for integrating AI into production systems
  • Experience with how AI and agentic systems can transform the way software is built and are excited to experiment responsibly with intelligent tooling that augments developer productivity
  • 12+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years as Lead and/or Architect
  • 12+ years of experience and in-depth knowledge of Agile principles, object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and server-side application development
  • 2-3+ years of experience with MongoDB, SAML, OAuth, REST Web Services, Kafka and transaction processing environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions / GitHub Workflows.
  • Experience deploying applications to PCF and GCP.
  • Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts such as pipeline-as-code, automated testing, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with secrets management and secure credential handling in pipelines.
  • Ability to design reusable, modular CI/CD templates and workflows.
  • Autonomous, creative, and efficient problem-solver
  • Excellent understanding of current Architecture and Development Standards
  • Adept at mentoring and directing junior team members
