Our team comprises engineers and analysts with subject matter expertise in various domains, including software development, simulation technologies, experimentation support tools, and systems analysis methodologies. Additionally, we have applied our expertise in evaluating, analyzing, and simulating emerging threats. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on mission-critical systems while working in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

Position Overview

You'll lead and contribute to enterprise-scale full-stack application development and cloud deployment efforts. In this senior role, you'll take ownership of significant development tasks - coordinating design, development, and testing either independently or leading a small team - while adapting to evolving responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage larger development tasks within a broader project or program, coordinating design, development, and testing individually or with a small team
  • Drive task design, planning, and technical documentation across the software development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Vue.js
  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise cloud applications in government or classified cloud environments
  • Create interactive geospatial visualizations and mapping tools (e.g., Cesium.js)
  • Develop robust backend services with well-defined APIs and network interfaces
  • Support DevSecOps pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure practices within government compliance frameworks
  • Participate in and help guide Agile workflows, including code reviews, version control (Git/GitLab), and task planning
  • Adapt to changing responsibilities over time, taking on different roles as project needs evolve

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and Node.js
  • Full-stack development capabilities across frontend and backend
  • Experience developing and deploying enterprise-level cloud applications
  • Experience with version control systems (Git/GitLab)
  • Strong familiarity with Agile development practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience deploying applications to government or classified cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, IL4/IL5, or Secret/Top Secret enclaves)
  • Familiarity with DoD security and compliance requirements (RMF, ATO processes)
  • Background in geospatial visualization (e.g., Cesium.js, Mapbox)
  • Modeling and Simulation (M&S) domain knowledge
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
