Location :Kent, WA, Charleston, SC or Everett, WA or Hazelwood, MO or Seattle, WA
Shifts: 1st - must work PST Time zone

Job Description
Participate in all phases of Agile software development, including design, development, modernization, integration, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications. Support modernization of legacy Java applications, enhance LDAP integration tools, and develop scalable full-stack solutions in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Agile software development activities including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
  • Modernize legacy Java applications and upgrade Java versions (Java 8 to Java 11+).
  • Enhance LDAP integration tools to improve security, performance, and reliability.
  • Refactor, debug, and optimize existing applications and codebases.
  • Integrate ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
  • Develop and support Java Servlets, JSP, HTML, and JavaScript-based applications.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with global teams using GitHub, Teams, Mattermost, and other collaboration tools.
  • Resolve complex technical and data issues within regulated and defense environments.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of Java development experience.
  • Experience upgrading and modernizing legacy Java applications.
  • Strong experience with Java Servlets and JSP.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and backend integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, or Gradle.
  • Experience debugging, refactoring, and modernizing legacy applications.
  • Experience with LDAP integration and directory services.
  • Experience with application integrations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with containerization technologies.
  • Experience deploying applications to container platforms.
