Job description

Senior Full Stack Web and Java Software Engineer

A Senior Full Stack Web and Java Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that meet the needs of clients and users. They are expected to have a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development, as well as experience with Java programming language. They should be able to work independently or as part of a team to develop software solutions that meet business requirements. This is a contract to hire position based out of Pilsen, Chicago as the resource is expected to be in the office for 3 days.

Job Duties:

  • Designing and developing web applications using Java programming language
  • Familiar with Docker and Containerization PAAS – Cloud Foundry / OpenShift
  • Experienced with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Developing front-end website architecture using React Framework
  • Designing user interactions on web pages
  • Developing back-end website applications
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality
  • Azure SQL or Cosmos DB
