Position Summary
The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable web-based applications that support business operations and member services. This role builds on full stack development expertise by driving architecture decisions, advancing software development lifecycle practices, and delivering complex solutions from concept to production. The Senior Full Stack Developer partners with cross-functional teams and leadership to improve development processes, enhance automation, and ensure high-quality, secure application delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities
Software Development & Engineering
• Lead the development and maintenance of web applications that support internal systems and business operations.
• Design and develop complex back-end services, databases, and application infrastructure.
• Build and guide the development of front-end components using modern frameworks and web technologies.
• Act as the SME for assigned technology platforms—driving adoption, best practices, and innovation.
• Ensure applications are optimized for scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Analyze, resolve, and document complex software defects and system issues.
• Resolve complex customer/member issues independently and implement improvements.
• Drive adoption of platform features, maximizing organizational investment and leveraging full platform capabilities.

Requirements, Design & Architecture
• Lead technical design, architecture, and prototyping efforts for new and existing applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions.
• Define and evolve API design and API management strategies, including self-service capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Required Knowledge
• 5+ years of programming experience with multiple languages/systems, gathering requirements, and authoring programming specification systems or equivalent experience with systems administration within a financial service environment
• Broad cross functional knowledge of department's role and how it connects to Affinity Plus's operations, functions and services.

• Advanced ability to design, develop, and maintain full stack applications across front-end and back-end technologies.

Required Work Schedule
Standard Monday through Friday business hours with a willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed. May be required to provide 24/7 on-call support. Consistent and reliable attendance is a required essential function of this role to meet the needs of the department/team and organization.

Location

This position will have the opportunity to work virtually, but candidates should live in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Working onsite throughout the year for meetings and team events will be required and are typically held in or near St. Paul, MN. Additionally, once hired, more time onsite may be required initially for collaboration and working sessions.

Compensation

This position has a starting pay range of $102,900 - $133,750 annually.

The actual pay may vary depending on the selected candidate’s skills, experience, and other qualifications.
